Off-Peak Generation of Electricity
A charge for producing the energy used during off-peak hours.

Off-Peak Delivery Service Charge
A charge for delivering energy to your location based on your off-peak kWh usage.

On-Peak Generation of Electricity
A charge for producing the energy used during on-peak hours.

On-Peak Delivery Service Charge
A charge for delivering energy to your location based on your on-peak kWh usage.

A charge for producing the energy used.

Energy Delivery Service Charge
A charge for delivering energy to your location based on your kWh usage.

Systems Benefits Charge
A charge to cover the costs of programs approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission, including low-income assistance, demand-side management, customer education, environmental, renewables, long-term public benefit research and development, nuclear fuel disposal and nuclear power plant decommissioning programs, and more.

Federal Transmission and Ancillary Services
A charge for transmitting energy from generating stations to customers.

Demand Charge On-Peak - Generation
A charge for generating energy based on your highest hour of energy used during on-peak hours.

Demand Charge On-Peak - Delivery
A charge for delivering energy based on your highest hour of energy used during on-peak hours.

Basic Service Charge
Charges for providing basic service functions and having service available, whether you use energy or not. Basic service charges on your bill include: Customer Account, Metering, Meter Reading and Billing.

Environmental Benefits Surcharge
A charge to cover the cost of programs approved by the Arizona Corporation Commission, including energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Federal Transmission Cost Adjustment
A charge to cover changes in the cost to transmit energy to customers.

LFCR Adjustor
A charge to recover the costs of providing service through power poles, wires and other infrastructure, that are not collected due to mandated energy efficiency and rooftop solar projects.

Power Supply Adjustment
A charge to cover what APS pays for fuel and purchased power.

Regulatory Assessment
A charge paid by customers of state-regulated utilities to help fund the Arizona Corporation Commission and Residential Utility Consumer’s Office.

Court Resolution Surcharge
This surcharge recovers certain costs APS requested in its 2019 rate case, as required by the Arizona Court of Appeals.

Franchise Fee
A fee paid to your local municipality for use of public land.

Grid Access Charge
This charge better aligns rates for some customers with rooftop solar to their cost of service.
