Cool Control Rebate
A $70 Rebate Comes with Putting in a Cool Control Device
About the Rebate
After your air conditioner’s compressor shuts off, a cool control device will run the fan up to five minutes afterwards to take advantage of the cold air that remains in your ducts. By using all of the cooling capacity from your air conditioner, you can save up to 10% on your cooling costs. Plus get a $70 rebate.
Talk to a participating contractor through the Home Performance Program to see if a cool control device will work with your air conditioner or heat pump. Cool control devices are not meant to work with window units.
The contractor will take care of everything for you, from installing and setting up the device to submitting the rebate application.
